Variovac offers two tray sealing devices: Rotarius and Linus, covering applications from small-scale semi-automatic tray packaging to industrial-grade fully automated tray sealing solutions.
- Rotarius is a compact, desktop heat sealing device, easy to operate and occupies only about 1.6 square meters. It is ideal for use in supermarket kitchens, central kitchens, small processing businesses, or food research and development centers.
- Linus series is designed for higher capacity applications and is suitable for medium to large food processing plants or ready meal production lines. It can be flexibly configured with automatic in-feed and out-feed systems, ensuring more efficient continuous production.
Both devices support various packaging formats to meet different product preservation and display needs. The standard sealing is suitable for dry products, ready-to-eat meals, etc., that do not require modified atmosphere packaging. MAP extends the shelf life of fresh meat, cooked vegetables, seafood, etc., by replacing oxygen with preservation gases. Skin tray packaging is ideal for high-value products such as steaks, fish fillets, and seafood, as it keeps the product tightly in the tray, enhances the visual appeal, and prevents shifting during transport.
